Just recently I got a message informing me that the building that I work in would be shut down and that if I desired, I could work from home. Now that I'm working from home, I get to enjoy a morning smoke on a daily basis. In the past it was always the JL PC, but now that I can do it everyday, I need some variety. To me the JL PC is perfect for the morning, 45 minute smoke, light bodied, creamy, and goes perfect with coffee. So what do you all enjoy in the morning?

I've never come across a better AM smoke than a '26 #35 maddie.

Back when I had the opportunity for morning smokes, I usually went with Monte #4's.

For NCs, either the Padron '26 #35 or the '64 Principe in maduro. For cubans, Trinidad Reyes or Monte #4 are hard to beat.

Golf mornings: Monte 2, PSP2, Lusi - sometimes a RyJ Churchill tubo.

Any other am - Cuaba or nice Siglo with coffee

edit to add - most of the time I have a PC in the evening or late at night.

ERDM PC is my favorite. RyJ Cedros #3 is another great morning cigar.

I'm not much of a morning smoker...
But I have enjoyed smaller RyJs...
I just got a box of Fonseca Cosacos that I think will make a nice am smoke .

HU Coronas Major (hand made - eminenete?, slightly bigger than mareva). Not too strong, slightly sweet tobacco taste (sugar cane-ish), and a fairly clean finish.

There are others too but since you are diversifying from the JLPC's, I think these are enough different and enough similar you would enjoy them. Actually, I have done this same thing starting last year. However, the HUCM may need more age than your JLPC's.

Cheers,
antaean

Wilkey,

Look out for the 6' tall blond hair and blue eyed guy casing your place.

not sure if this is sad or cheap or whatever.

but I love my aristoff white label perfecto's with my morning coffee.

someday I'll have supreme baller status and burn a cuban every morning with some hoes layin around the pool, topless of course.

someday

I'm a little ass backwards as I truly enjoy a Bolivar PC in the morning with coffee, as I like a little get up and go HELLO DAY start.

I like the AVO #9 in the morning with a cup of Joe.

The Fonseca Cosacos is also a good mild morning cigar.

El Rey del Mundo - demi-tasse. Light, subtle, sweet, short smoke - perfect before or after that first coffee (20mn or so).

If you're even more pressed for time, consider Montecristo Clubs - tiny (but bigger than minis) but not harsh (10mn). I thought all the Clubs might be the same tobacco with different brands on it but no - try a Cohiba Club and its' aggressive strength might ruin your morning!!

And if you have time in the mornings - Trinidad Reyes, Por Larranaga Petit Coronas... the list is endless.

Anything in the El Rey del Mundo line is a good morning cigar. The citrus taste I get off of this line is great first thing in the morning with a cup of espresso.

But what do I know. I've been known to smoke a Opus Power Ranger first thing in the morning!
