El Cheapo Smoke of the Day - 2023

@BurnBerry - I don't think you have to be here four months in order to send cigars to someone. Maybe to participate in the CigarPass thing. Of course, I am also new here. Maybe someone will come along and educate me.

I've had some relatively pricey cigars that sucked the big moose ******. That's very annoying, to be sure.

I figured offering them would fall under selling them 🤷‍♂️

If I run across any other cheapy's I don't like I'll let you know since you're pretty active posting them lol

hahahahahahhaaaaa careful - once I have YOUR address it's game on !

It'll be like passing around those Christmas fruitcakes from the days of old.

I was going to offer them to someone for free but I don't meet the 4 month member requirement yet otherwise they could have been yours lol
The whole 4 month issue is to protect members from a newbie that no one knows. Since you're not selling, it doesn't apply to you. If Kevin wants to give you his address and you're giving him something, I don't think there is an issue. Hope this helps

Where were we?
Oh yes -

$1.87 Victor Sinclair Primeros 6 x 60.

Dominican, with Dominican binders/fillers and Connecticut wrapper.
This was from a VS fatso sampler pack. All of these (so far) have smoked well.

If you're wanting a nice mild smoke with morning coffee then this is it. :)

$1.87 Victor Sinclair Vintage Select 6 x 60 - from a large sampler pack of VS cigars. The "everyday" price for this sampler is 40 cigars/$110. ($2.75/ea)

Dominican, with Dominican long leaf fillers and an Brazilian Maduro wrapper.

I was reluctant to fire this one up because of the dark appearance ( I like the mellow/medium variety) but it turned out to be nice and smooth. Probably a "medium" stick. Tasty. Very well behaved. These have been in the humidor for a fuzz over a month @68%.

I bought a 50 count bundle of these 72 cent Filipino cigars, and there's one left. The Toros are presently available at CI 50ct/$65, everyday price.

Nicaraguan filler, Habano binder, Connecticut wrapper. These have all had an average construction and have been well behaved.
Just remove the band. No one will know.
:)

A nice mellow smoke.

Smoke Inn, a major online cigar retailer (which you may or may not be familiar with), had a club called the Connoisseurs Club. It was $49.95 a month for 5 specially made, one of a kind cigars from various cigar makers. Well the Connoisseurs Club is no more, and they are closing out their inventory at a price of only $17.95 per pack of 5. The cigars offered go back to 2021 and 2022, and come from such companies like Rocky Patel, Perdomo, Gurkha, AJ Fernandez and many others.
I've bought a few packages of them. They look pretty good, although I haven't tried any yet. I'm letting them sit in the humidor for awhile.
Check them out. You never know. For $17.95 you may be getting the deal of a lifetime, or a total bust. If it's the latter, it's better than spending a $100.00 or more for cigars (which I ave done), and finding out that you don't like them.

Great tip. 30 LFD’s for 107.

Cupido - in the fatso 6 x 60 size. The Cigar Page everyday price is 5-pack/$17.50.
This one was $1.81.

Long leaf Nicaraguan fillers - rolled in Nicaragua, by Carlos Sanchez at his TACASA factory - the same place that makes Don't Tread On Me, Cult Original, Cubao Esteli and more.

The literature says medium, but this one tended closer to the mellow scale. LOL - I smoked this one right off the truck.
It was packed in a box with Boveda packs, so I was curious.

The construction seemed a bit tight, but it had a nice draw and it turned out to be a nice, smooth smoke.

Not sure if you've had these New Cuba sticks yet.. they come in 4 different wrappers.. I have tried them all, but enjoy the Corojo best. They're made by Aganorsa and are definitely cheapo's.. but damn tasty ones!

And just like all Page links for some reason, you may need to copy and paste the link in your browser.

Free Will 5.6 x 46 Corona Gorda - by Olivia.

Nicaraguan with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper.
Filler: Nicaraguan Habano Condega, Ometepe, Jalapa
Binder: Nicaraguan Habano Condega

These are about five bucks everyday at your favorite online cigar emporium. Puffy price $2.25, as part of a sampler.

A full bodied stick with good construction, with a nice draw and a decent burn. This is my second one of these (same pack) and they've both been nice. These have been in the 68% humidity range for six weeks-ish.

I bought the sampler of these when they first came out. Definitely have been improving after about 6mos at 65%ish. This one is a collabo that Oliva's new owner did with da Page. Oliva is now European-owned.. his name is Fred. Kinda funny.

Also, your auto-correct is doing the same as mine used to.. always switches "Oliva" to "Olivia"!

You're gonna need to teach it a few times to drop that extra 'i'. Lol!

No, that's just me.. I'm a slow learner.

When ya want a big, fat breakfast smoke.

Graycliff gordo 6 x 60 in the red & gold band. $2.47 ea/delivered (sampler pack)
I just received another bunch of these, but this time they were $1.81. I gotta pay better attention !

Mellow/medium stick. All of these Graycliff cigars have smoked well.
This one has been @68% for about seven weeks.

Oro Cubano Aniversario - Churchill. About a buck and a half, everyday online price.
A mellow/medium Dominican with an Indonesian wrapper.

This one had a thin wrapper - burned a bit uneven and had to be touched up a few times but it was <$1, so I can live with that. Overall, it was a decent smoke - - more like a two-dollar cigar ! 😜😜😜
