What pets do you have?

As you might be able to tell from my profile pic, this is our rescue boy, Carson. He is such a wonderful cat. When our other cat passed away suddenly, we weren't sure if we would ever get another cat, as we were so shocked and heartbroken by her untimely passing. However, roughly 6 months later, we saw Carson on a shelter webpage, and we felt connected to him almost instantly. We went to the shelter on July 4th and gave Carson his independence!

He can be a slight asshole, occasionally, but he's truly such a good boy. They found him wandering the streets of Worcester, Massachusetts. He hopped into the shelter volunteer's car while she was feeding a colony of feral cats.

The best part is, he rescued us as much as we rescued him, and he shows it every day. He's extremely attached to us, but me more so. He sleeps with us in bed every night, comes when we call to him, and follows us around the house like a dog. He even plays fetch like a dog. And he loves all the windows in our house, so he can watch the squirrels and bunnies running around the yard.0901201700_2.jpg
