Totally. I thought everything from parsley to green onion to chives.. and never once thought cilantro. I'm going to try it tomorrow with my leftovers.

Have you heard about people who hate cilantro because they think it literally tastes like soap?

Thanks guys! I really believe that the secret is the cooking of the FRESH mussels in the homemade marinara sauce & the use of FRESH mozzarella. Occasionally I will also chop up a few little neck clams & add to the sauce.

It tastes like really strong yard weeds to me, so bad that just a tiny bit ruins the dish for me. I've tried and tried again, but I just can't eat it.

Yeah. Apparently a large swath of the country has some sort of adverse taste reaction to it. I can only have sympathy as I love the stuff. I make my own pico and will snag pinches of it during the chopping process.

Now I have to googlize it and see what causes this visceral reaction to it.
