Picking up my coyote mount

I have to admit, now that I have it, and it's good enough to hang on a wall, it was absolutely hilarious the way it all played out that evening after I shot it.

I was pissed off but I couldn't stop laughing!

Looks pretty good Jeff! For the neighbors dog anyway…guess you can’t invite them over anymore!

Seriously, I like it. :)

You are such a great storyteller.
I am a hypocrite. I know this.
But I don't hunt.
I shot a starling with my pellet rifle when I was 15 and didn't sleep for a week.
But your story is effing spectacular.
What a bizarre position to find yourself in.
You can't make that stuff up.
Condolences if it goes upside down.
All hail good luck if it all works out.

Hunting was a tradition from the time I was a wee lad.

It is still the best part of my year when I hunt with my son, my nephew, and my grandson in the undisturbed wilderness of the Allegheny National forest.

That is great.
I'm jealous.

Heart warming stuff. Lets not forget the fact that it took you 3-4 shots to finally bag that thing. And that’s when he gave you a second chance.
(You know I love ya)

I readily admit just how much luck was involved.

That's part of what made the event great.

Are you sure the coyote didn't kill itself after you missed for the 100th time, just to make you feel better?
The funny part is I shot it through the neck. I dont even try neck shots on deer when I have a perfect rest!

I was aiming center mass!
