Picked up this first pipe

NORDING DANMARK "C" Stamped on shank. Pre Smoked. Great condition. Approximate measurements: 5.5" Length. 1.5" Bowl.

Have no idea of the value but I paid $29.95 + Shipping.

Now to get some tobacco. Might be near a tinder box Wed. if they have anything decent?

Smoked it a few times now. It is a estate pipe but the first few times were a challenge. I think it is getting better though.

I am mainly smoking Sunset Breeze which I think is a little on the wet side. I had a few bowls of a vanilla discount that a friend gave me to try that went better. mainly as I was having some issues that I thought might be the Sunset Breeze.

I think I just needed a few smokes thorough it to get it back in smoking shape.

Learning to pack the bowl correctly for the tobacco is the key to keeping it lit. Plus the Sunset Breeze is an Aromatic which isn't helping your case out.

Did the vendor clean/sanitize it before he shipped it? Ream the cake down? If not, you might want to do both to get rid of any 'ghosts' from the former owner.
Nice pipe, BTW, Nordings are good quality briar in general. :thumbs:
