Brush with cigar greatness

My local b&m had a Tatuaje event last night, and none other than Pete Johnson was there. If you ever get a shot to meet Pete, he is a very down to earth guy with an interesting story of how he got started in the cigar business and what his vision is for the future of Tatuaje. He talked to the group of about 25 of us for an 1hr, gave us his stories on how he names the various blends, sizes, etc, then he hung with us for another 3hrs smoking cigars and just shooting the breeze. Most interesting is how he and Pepin got hooked up and how they work together in coming up with the various blends. Lot more than I can remember right now, I had Pete sign a box of Unico's I grabbed during the event as a momento. I even won a huge Tatuaje ashtray for the patio. Moki was mentioned several times and his vitolas.net site, our Moki certainly has connections in the cigar world.
All in all, great time at Regency Cigar, and was certainly a pleasure to meet Pete and his reps for New England, if you ever get a shot to meet him, he will not disappoint.

Actually, that's my cigar fantasy. :sign: My normal fantasy is pretty much the same as yours...................The only difference is, I have a tattoo on my ass that says "EXIT ONLY".
