1-2-3 days seems to have become 2-3-5 days for USPS Priority shipping. Has USPS shifted their priorities (pun intended)?

I find it inconsistent. Very fast to slow.

Doc.
Same here. Recent range has been 2 days to 7 days.

X3.

Got to say, though, that my local USPS DCU has some top notch folks in it. They jumped all over a delivery error and got a lost package to me the same day I raised the issue. The manager drove it over personally and apologized for the f-up, and told me the steps they were going to take to prevent it from happening again. Outstanding.....

UPS has left me hanging this past week as well. I sent some "packages" out on Monday. The tracking shows scheduled deliveries of Monday & Tuesday of next week for two of the five I sent.

I sent two out today USPS...............They will most likely leave me hanging too.

Same here gents.

I sent out a package to Brickhouse a week before he left for his military duty. It didn't make it in time. Somehow it got sent to someplace in Missouri before being re-sent to him. I just hope his wife or a neighbor put them in his humidor. :(

So I'm trying to get a little work done yesterday and the mail people stop for a second time and drop this package on the counter. I slowly open it up half expecting a shower of flour or some other trap. I start to pull this out and I'm thinking "cool, an ashtray, someone trying to be a little more creative with what has been blasting the front of the store for the last week!". NO, it's not an ashtray, it's four cigars in tubes(Macanudo tubes?!?)encased in what apparently is either acrylic or epoxy resin. Now, I think this is awesome. I would leave them in there and put it on the wall in the shop but the cigars are things I've not ever seen(a couple of them). We had a couple of ideas on how to free them but I think we may try to drill through the bottom or hit it with a band saw. Opusxkc managed to cut himself stabbing at it with his knife.
Jay, you are crazy! I showed this to my wife last night and she started coming up with all kinds of nasty ways to package a bomb. You are a sick little man and I think I might be able to cure you! Watch your ass...

You have your answer.
