So I'm trying to get a little work done yesterday and the mail people stop for a second time and drop this package on the counter. I slowly open it up half expecting a shower of flour or some other trap. I start to pull this out and I'm thinking "cool, an ashtray, someone trying to be a little more creative with what has been blasting the front of the store for the last week!". NO, it's not an ashtray, it's four cigars in tubes(Macanudo tubes?!?)encased in what apparently is either acrylic or epoxy resin. Now, I think this is awesome. I would leave them in there and put it on the wall in the shop but the cigars are things I've not ever seen(a couple of them). We had a couple of ideas on how to free them but I think we may try to drill through the bottom or hit it with a band saw. Opusxkc managed to cut himself stabbing at it with his knife.
Jay, you are crazy! I showed this to my wife last night and she started coming up with all kinds of nasty ways to package a bomb. You are a sick little man and I think I might be able to cure you! Watch your ass...

Ha! Ha! I knew about this along with a few other Newbs but, we were sworn to secrecy. This one is hitting one other Brotha you know as well. Jay.......................that is a good one. I could not help but chuckle when I read this.

Man, I've been waiting for this one to hit! Well done Jay!
It certainly makes a nice display, but you might have some luck with a dremel if you just *have* to get it cracked open.
Watch the dust though, that can't be good for the lungs.

I came home last night from a long flight and then putting in several hours at work to find a crater where my mail box was. Among the destruction was an epoxy/resin bomb. That there is some funny shit!!! Shawn, Jeremy, Amy and I have all had a good chuckle over this. And three of us have thought that just keeping it as is and hanging it on the wall would be just awesome. However, I too really want to smoke that Don Pepin Blue Label Lancero. (Brad, you have seen all of those, barring the DP Lancero). I however was fortunate enough to have the Monte Especial replaced with an infamous White Owl!!! At least that is my guess at this point. Shawn and I have a bet going to see if I'm right. At least the resin will keep it from contaminating the other cigars.

Nicely thought out Jay! I have to tell you that I had a conversation with a guy at Lowe's when I was making my Pipe Bombs about ideas and I thought about doing the exact same thing you did. But I didn't want to destroy the cigars. So I thought about glass tubes, but I didn't have any glass tubes. So I moved onto the Pipe Bomb. Nicely done.

Grateful1, thanks for the link. I have another option I am going to try prior to the easy-off though.

Well done Jay! Well done!

LMAO! That is really cool looking!  I'm thinking I will enjoy a couple years from now when these boys are on the FOG team for the next war! Great play guys!

I have been curious when these babies would land!

Make sure to keep us posted on the progress, or lack there of!

Nice job Jay!
