Woke up at the Hospital as i pulled the 'night shift' in my Uncle's room (stage 4 cancer), went home, went to Sunday School and Church, then off to Tallahassee for lunch w/ family at Bonefish. Back to La Casa, laid around and watched the US Open, doing absolutely nothing, now on deck w/ a RZ 23 and a La Aurora Emerald. Maybe later i'll recieve that 'special' Fathers Day present ;) Kids and wife have been wonderful today :) Oh, and got some Bose Triport OTE headphones :)

I slept lousy last night, but slept in till about 9. Read the paper, smoked a LFD box press I with my coffee, then slaughtered some Nazis in CoH. Took my grandsons (the evil spawn staying with their dad for the next month) for shoes, then on to #3 son for burnt animal flesh. I repaired his swamp cooler. Actually, I had a nice flatiron steak lunch. There was no beer. ??? I'm working on that one. Wife, daughter and I came home where I killed more Nazis and now I'm reading CP. Shortly, I'll go pop a Fat Tire and see what's on Sci Fi. Pretty good day for me.

Spent most of the day hungover from spending the night prior with my dad at a Golf Scramble.

:)

Other than that, just lounged around at a family get-together watching the U.S. Open.

Went to my uncles house just outside of DC. My entire extended family on my moms side was there. It was good to see them. Especially my Grandparents who are getting in their upper eighties.

The wife and kids started it off nice this morning by bringing me coffee in bed along with a nice single smoke tied to a gift card to a local B&M. Not to mention a bottle of my favorite Vodka.

Well this was my first Prefathers Day, I won’t be a father until first week of August. But my day was great started, with going out to breakfast. Then came home enjoyed some golf, smoked a La Aurora Ltd. Ed while watching the rain. After my long day of hard work I took a nap, did some studying for an exam that is first thing in the morning. To end the day took a nice long walk around Rice College with the wife.

Get together with some of my mom's side of the family. In the photo is my first born, Shea. His baby brother, Quinn, is scheduled to come into this world around July 30. After that, I'm donating my bojangles to science.

Oh yeah, smoked a Tat Havana IV Alrmirantes for lunch and having a King B as I type this. Really doesn't get much better.

Woke up at 5:30 after working my ass off at the Pepin event to the sound of my children fighting! Rolled back over and slept til 7:30 when I promptly woke up with my two year old pouncing on my back! Watched TV with the wife for a while and then got up and took a shower. I went and got the gang some breakfast and then headed to work. I stopped for Backyard Burgers on the way in! I spent the majority of my day cleaning up the shop and getting product changed for the next event. Got done with work and headed home to dinner with the wife and kids(she BBQ steaks) and now I sit here getting ready to put a load of laundry in! Good day all around!

Just got done with 8 days of 'guiding' on my boat, and driving some friends around. Being the designated driver is NOT all it's cracked up to be!! So I'm unwinding with a raid on my newly stocked liquor cabinet!

Fathers day was done on the 15th, thats when the father's day goodies got here in the mail. I pillow case with my daughters face on it, and a t-shirt with her hand prints. The 15th is also her birthday, turned 3, called the house around 6 am Texas time, Savanna (my daughter) answered the phone, I could tell by the noise she was running and prancing in place saying "IT'S MY DADDY, ITS MY DADDY!!!" that really warms my heart. After that sat down and watched the 4th season of The Soprano's and had a hot cup of Vanilla Chi. Stayed away from the Iraqi Army (I am a trainer here in Iraq) didn't need those A$$Clowns messing up my day.

No Smoke today, all I had were dried out knock-off RyJ's

You are just lucky the Chat room crashed on me. The save feature would have been nice to hit early but I wanted to hear more.

Worked on the house from early morning till l 5, then took the wife and kids down to her grandparents for stew and homemade icecream. The best part was getting the kids out on the dock at the pond fishing. With all the rain that we have had lately the pond is extremely full and the kids can see the fish swimming around. Two four year olds with their own fising poles and a lot of Brim (Perch) makes for a great time. Whenever it started to rain they even stayed out on the dock to fish. Looks like I better start saving for a boat. :D

Father's Day was a perfect day for me. Had a nice italian lunch with my wife and little girl. Then visited my father to spend time with him. Then we all went swimming and enjoyed the gamily time.

Oh, as a Father's Day gift, my wife made a shirt for me displaying the following picture of my daughter (who likes to play Princess Dress Up with me):

And if one of you bastards says anything about the Pearl Necklace around my neck, you're askin' for it!

  Very nice, looks like she has you wrapped around her little finger!

Mine was great as well. Went to the baseball game with the boys and had a BBQ later that night with my dad and grandfather. We shared a few beers, some good food and some smokes. Couldn't ask for a better day.

We had grandpa take a break from his michelob and try a Belgian trappist.

Awesome photos Jonas!!!
How did your Grandpa like the Trappist???
He enjoyed it and said it reminded him of beer that the Belgian women gave him when he was there back in WWII. That led to some amazing stories about the day he landed on Omaha beach. It was an honor to share a fine beer and a conversation with him as it's not something I get to do often.

Definitely moments to cherish  Thanks for sharing Jonas.

I got up early and teed off at 7:15. Home by noon for an AVO 80th and a couple of Espressos (wifey had gone shopping by then). Talked to my dad for a while (on the phone unfortunately, he lives in New Brunswick). Spent most of the afternoon watching US Open. BBQed some Tenderloins for the Bride and I while smoking some Old Virginia Flake in a Meer. Then after supper, I relaxed with a couple of drinks of Sherry and an Opus Fuente Fuente.

I spent the day at Oakmont CC watching the US Open with my father-in-law and my 21 yr old son. We had a great time.

I wonder what would have happened had Tiger made that putt on 18 and had to play on Monday. Would he had played, or forfeited to be with his wife for the birth of their baby. We will never know.

My respect for your Grandfather Jonas. He's lucky to still be here to tell you the story. My grandfather piloted the Little Lass, a B-17 bomber that was shot down somewhere near the Netherlands on his 15th or so mission. I love to hear him talk about it on the rare ocassion that he does.
