Hi guys,

I haven't been around too much lately what with the trip to Washington and my research really sucking my time. Seems like I've barely had time to smoke. In any case, I see that I'm coming up on two milestones: 6,000 posts and my 2 year anniversary.

So do you think this might be worthy of a contest of some kind? And if so, what?

Well since you are such a unique individual, I propose a contest that would be fitting.. Possibly a contest that fits your philosphy and outlook on your cigar hobby.

Since you have spent so much of your time educating us, let us dazzle you with our knowledge... The contest winner goes to the person that can enlighten you on cigar knowledge that you had no previous knowledge of.

E.g. Possibly the story of Litto Gomez, he was a owner of a pawn shop / jewelry store until one day he was robbed,

Cool idea! I read Litto's story in one of the cigar mags (cA, I think) and it was chilling. Great to see that he's gone on to such success. Hell, none of the career cigar and tobacco men had easy lives. Yet they supply product that epitomizes the good life.

Yea, kinda ironic huh? My idea would be not some useless knowledge such as Pete Johnsons first tattoo was ?????, but rather something along the lines of something like different cooking / processing techniques, e.g maduro, wet packing, sungrown, cloud grown, steam pressed.

Being as this is a 2 point anniversary I would like to see it entail your favorite source of cigar knowledge as well as your favorite person of knowledge here at CP. (crude guessing game on my part as I have no idea on either)

I always find your posts to be interesting and informative,good on you mate.
I also owe you a BIG thank you for your work on fake and sub standard cigars. You have certainly saved me from embarrassing myself with some of the crap cigars available down here.
