R.I.P. - Bentley Continental GT

The s.o.b. in the GMC did as well, though it remains in question how it will play out as his registration and license were long expired. He presented an insurance card, and it remains to be seen whether his policy is still actually valid.

First, like everything else has said, thank the Lord you are ok. Secondly, I've known many people that have let there registration expire for over a year, but the liscence is fishy. Usually insurance companies catch those. But since he has (hopefully) a valid insurance policy, they might pay out. Technically, if he had insurance with me, we wouldn't pay out because it says in his contract that he (or any driver) must have a valid license.

Just make sure your uninsured motorist is enough to make you whole from the Bentley. I am sure it will be. I honestly doubt you have it insured with a "run of the mill" insurance company.

Seriously, glad your o.k. brudda.

Thanks for the well wishes and kind words gents.

A little more sore today, just taking it easy and getting some r&r and some great attention from the little wife - moreso than usual. About to go in to my sauna for a session and that should help out even more. Trying to get a little more put together for the Winter Music Conference that's been going on here in Miami and South Beach for the last couple of days. Tonight (Sat) offers a huge, wide array of events.

As for the Bentley, yeah, when I bought it, I paid cash for it, so it is/was all mine. Insured the beauty to the hilt, so that will present no problem should the GMC idiot's insurance not pan out. Still, those things aside, when asked "who cares?" about losing it...well, that's just a rather absurd notion. Regardless of one's ability to afford things, it's not exactly sound reasoning to just trash the toys you obtain, or care so little about their demise. Why not just go knock some holes in my boats and watch them sink?...might be a fun way to release some stress and can easily just go get more boats. Of course the car can, and will, be easily replaced, but to act with such little regard for the things one does acquire is senseless.

Sorry to hear of your accident, happy to hear your ok. Feel better brother.

On a side note, has El Martillo done anything lately????

Yep. Have been traveling a great deal lately, but during my down time, still find some time to coach some kids and have won some additional bouts.

Crap! Well least you are ok my friend, I will say a prayer for the GT, and enjoy the RR, that looks like a very nice car indeed.
Rob

DAMN that sucks... glad you're ok, as that's the important thing.

Nice to get the added attention from the woman tho, huh? at least something good happens for a bad event...

Best of luck with the S.O.B. and his insurance and whatnot.

Good for you brother!!!!

Damn, MC, I'm sorry to hear about that, glad you're ok though, that's what counts.

So sad to lose any car, but even worse to lose such a fine automobile, enoy its replacement though.

Glad to hear y'all are safe and OK. Take it slow after an accident, you never know what was injured. Nice ride (one of my all time favs), one of the guys in my office building has an all black one & I drool at the sight of it every time.
The replacement sounds great, but why the Rolls? just curious. :)

Thanks brother. Mine is/was as well.

The new Rolls Phantom Coupes are simply works of art, and absolutely awe-inspiring to drive.

Glad to hear there were no injuries. (Vehicles aside).

It's a shame that such a fine car has been damaged also, but as you said, chance to upgrade!

Man, "my Bently got wrecked so I bought this Rolls" is one phrase I hope to be able to say some day haha.

no kidding. Glad your ok Miamicubano. I dont even want to know how fast that guy was going if he "slowed" down.

Sorry to hear about the ride!

Good to hear you came out alright

As I typed, no offense was intended. The "who cares" was in reference to the context; you're alive and you can truly afford it so it hurts, but ultimately, there's nothing permanent that will affect the quality of life you have left to live (and given the car that hit you and how it did, it could have very much been different). So, I'm sorry if I offended.

Gald to hear your doing okay after an collision like that Hermano  , and I am truly sorry to hear about the Bently. Damn, I was looking forward to us cruising the strip in that baby ... lol.
