Well I'll be damned.

First time someone's caught me on film.

Well, maybe not. I'm a Subaru man, actually. ;)

What a crazy coincidence.

I drive a 2001 production, 2002 MY WRX sedan. Made in Japan.

I don't see my self buying another Subaru though. The AWD is great, but the mileage just kills and I didn't like where the Tribeca went, or the new Forester for that matter. We owned a 1998 Forester and loved it, but the latest MY looks like the RAV4, which looks like the CRV, which looks like the....well, you get the point.

The only way I see us buying another Scooby would be if they came out with a mid-sized, hybrid minivan. Family life has its demands and alas, the WRX doesn't fit those needs well.

Sorry for the rant. Our family has been a longtime fan of the Subaru but they've gone too upscale and high aspiration on us.

Now, if we were to win Powerball, then I'd buy an STi, and send it out to Vermont Sportscar for the full WRC conversion from the seam welding on up. Or maybe to Utah for Cobb Tuning to work their magic. :D But let's face it. That ain't happening.

PS. I appreciate the thought, John!

As out of shape as I am now, I'd probably drop dead of an infarction after the first half dozen skips.

Vulture(s)!

In any case, my final instructions are to build a pyre out of my full boxes and cabs, lay my body on top, and then ignite them. I intend for my spirit to be carried up to the heavens on the fragrant smoke of the beloved cigar.
