One too many Mojitos and you end up with . . .

I don't see why anyone should be offended.

I also don't know much about cigars yet.

I do know if I see someone driving a Toyota Matrix or Corolla I might think to myself, man they could have saved some serious cash by buying a Pontiac Vibe or a Chevy Prizm. I may mention it to them if they plan to buy another but I wouldn't keep on them about it.

I think the OP understands he could have gotten the different banded sticks, and I do agree with his opinion that things bought during a special occasion are often worth the higher price.

It's almost as is no one here has paid too much for beer or a souvenir at an NFL, MLB, or NBA game. I have, and would again.

This is a great book. If any of you see it, I definitely recommend picking it up.

How much did these cost? Would you consider trading one of the white banded ones for a drew estate egg valued at $40?

Your analogy doesn't work because the Toyota's are not the same exact car as the Chevy or Pontiac. The AF13 and the Gran Aniversario are the exact same cigar. He paid a little more than double the price he could have gotten the cigar for at a number of different online retailers. The only difference between the 2 cigars is that the less expensive Gran Anniversario has a much nicer band.

A better analogy you could have used would be a Chevy Blazer and a GMC Jimmy. ;)

Actually they are, depending on the model. The Chevy Prizm has three Chevy logos on it, the hood, the horn/airbag, and the trunk lid. Every part on the vehicle is a toyota part. If you want I can post pictures tomorrow of the engine tag on my Prizm that clearly reads "Toyota". The same goes with the Vibe.

A lot of this started because GM couldn't make mandated MPG limits on their fleet so they sold foreign made cars under the Geo emblem. The Geo Tracker and Metro were made by Suzuki ( I had a Suzuki Swift which was a 4 cyl, twin cam, 5-speed manual Metro. It hauled!!), the Geo Prizm was made by Toyota, and the Geo Storm was made by Isuzu. Don't foget about the biggest bastardization of any vehicle name when the Chevy Nova went to the Nova II which I believe was a Toyota Tercel

But yeah, it also goes with GMC-GM Truck and Cadillac Truck-GM Truck. Or Mercury-Ford. Acura-Honda. Audi-VW. Lexus-Toyota. Infinity-Nissan. Opel-Saturn.

But wait it gets better. Saturn could have an Opel engine, GM engine, or even a Honda engine. A Ford may have an Isuzu engine, and an Isuzu may have a Honda engine.

Sometimes I don't know why I chose auto mechanic as a profession!!

Does anybody know who has these singles in stock right now?

Casa Fuente

I'm willing to bet Casa Spivak has a whole rack of these sitting in between the BBMF Maduro's and the Davidoff Dom Perignons. :whistling:

LMAO!!

Is that one of those Danger sites?

David

edit to add: may be stupid question. But a serious one

I saw those. For some reason I've always been leary of that site and I have no idea why. The damn thing just looks suspicious! Has anyone ever ordered or purchased from them? Looks like they're based in NY.
