Hey everyone! A good friend of mine is taking a trip to Cancun next week and is pretty stoked about having ISOM sticks readily available to him. I let him know that there's going to be a LOT of fakes, so I wanted to get some insight on any authorized Habanos dealers in that area, for him.

He'll be staying at the El Dorado in the Maya Riviera.

Thanks in advance!

Was there a question?

...and if the site changes its content, your cut and past will be miss infomation on CP.

Yes, the question was if anyone knows of any reputable Habanos dealers in or around Cancun. Were you posting in this thread to help out?

Yes, I was posting to help the forum determine where the quesiton was...as there was NO QUESTION MARK!!!

And, to get on with the second part of it, you are referencing website data that may go out of date.
Why not just link to it?
If the link goes bad, so be it.
If the data goes bad, then CP has mis-information.

Does that help?

EDIT - I won't even mention that this has been discussed and information can be found by using the SEARCH function!

Oh wait, I just did!

Does that help the thread?

DO NOT DISCUSS CUBAN SOURCES/RETAILERS

DO NOT POST REQUESTS FOR SOURCE VERIFICATION

DOING SO WILL RESULT IN TERMINATION OF YOUR ACCOUNT

just saying...

Jesus guys, forget it. Thanks for the help. If I've violated a rule, then terminate my account.

Answered my question with some help from some cool members and ... wow look at that re-reading the rules....

Yes, it applies to all sources, regardless of location.

Hah I forgot about this line.... DRRR....
"As noted above, sources are defined as cigar retailers which sell Cuban cigars. Cuban cigars are illegal in the United States, and it is against our rules for anyone (no matter what country you reside in) to discuss Cuban cigar retailers/sources. This rule is in place to protect YOU and our community in general."

DAMN F.N.G---- (Smacks himself)

I don't think he was trying to obtain info to purchase and import into the US. His question was to assist his 'friend' as to how he can obtain quality smokes, 'ISOM's', while in Cancun. Which I am sure you know is legal for those that reside in that country, for those here traveling abroad, I know it's not. Is this type of activity monitored? It is not, so most do it. I have seen many posts here at CP where one comes to find out where a reputable dealer can be found in another country to purchase when one visits said country and not much is said about that. They are simply and most often pointed toward the 'LCDH' website and it ends there. At no point are they instructed of the 'Bold Printed Red Sign' above. So I don't see why this post has any relevance to this topic, sorry. Now I can understand if he posted about assistance with trusted sources, a big NO NO :0 , but that wasn't the case.

RyJ,
Your best bet is to look at the La Casa de los Habanos website, which you have already done, and go from there. Just do a search and you will see what I am talking about.

It's easier to just not discuss ANY source whatsoever. It's better for all parties involved, especially CP since in the end they would pay the price for us discussing ANYTHING Habanos related.

There is no excuse for discussing sources, no matter who it's for...
