How many cigars do you have?

I topped out at just shy of 1000. I think I am down to about 600 after selling off some things. I would prefer to have less than 100 so it will all fit in a small humidor.

    Pictures of Your Collections!

I haven't bought a cigar in about 4 years because my smoking buddies moved to another state and I already had over 800 sticks. I actually rarely smoke anymore and I will be offering up nearly everything in the humi in a few months. I have to get the last 4 months of good standing participating...

    Pictures of Your Collections!

I have more than I will ever get around to smoking.

    El Triunfador?

I just got an email from my local shop about a new Pete Johnson cigar called El Triunfador. Based on the email, it looks like customers will have to ask about the cigar to even have a chance to get it. I did a search and nothing came up. Anyone know anything about this supposedly super limited...

    Wine cellar

I dont think you are going to get the temp down to a proper level, which is the mid to upper 50s. Especially if you are going to heat and cool the whole room, unless you like it really cold. You might want to check out a wine board. Robert Parker has a great board with all kinds of info on home...

    Looking for a good wine

I would try Pillar Box Red. It is an Aussie red blend. It is a great buy at under $10, is very fruit forward and does not have the acid that you are looking to stay away from.

If you never bought another cigar?

I could get in 18 years minimum.

    So uh... yeah.

I also am going to go with them being the new cigars for the CF 10th. I am thinking that they use the X from Opus band to use as the Roman numeral 10(X).

    Anejo #40?

Wow all this talk about how hard it is to pick up a box of #55s makes me think that the 23 I picked up at Christmas was one heck of a score! I knew they were hard to come by, but not to this extreme.

    Oban 14 yo Highland Malt

I have been waiting for this review for a while. Oban is my personal favorite, and I am sorry to hear that you think it is just a secondary drink AVB. As with cigars, I have learned that everyone likes something different, which makes trying something new fun.

    Sauternes and the like

I just popped the cork on a bottle of Jackson Trigg, a Canadian Ice Wine, and it really isn't my kind of thing. I gave this a shot as my local had it in a 187ml and I liked the idea of the smaller bottle for trying something new. For those that have had it and some other dessert wines, please...

Differences in GOF by Don Carlos?

Oh, I see. I thought you were saying the cigars were a different size and the coffins were the same. I bought a box of these when they were released back in early '06 or something like that, I don't have my records in front of me to confirm, and the coffins are larger than the cigar and there...

Differences in GOF by Don Carlos?

What do the bands on the cigars say? It sounds like one of the cigars is actually a Carlito blend 2005 double robusto.

    Sauternes and the like

NorCal, what do those run per bottle? I am starting to learn that the market for wine in Nashville is pretty poor in terms of price. Tennessee being one of those states that most online shops do not ship to, the prices charged by the stores I frequent are often much higher than I find online.

    Sauternes and the like

I am interested in trying a few Sauternes or like wines. It is something that I know next to nothing about, other than d'Yquem is expensive and to die for. I know there have to be cheaper options and was looking for a few that would be less than $50, hopefully less than $25. They do not have to...
