Funny read. The most accurate description I've heard of Bulleit was from an old liquor store salesman at a shop in DC, who was giving me bourbon recommendations. His comment was, "Bulleit, now that's real fire water!"

Unless the process of how customs decides which packages to search is known, speculation on the effects of this regulation are...just that. If they randomly select packages to run through an x-ray and maybe open, it won't matter what the package says. If they select which packages to scan...

When my dad's car was stolen, they found it a month later, and the scum who stole it were riding around putting out their newports in every crevase and crack in the dash. He had to have the whole interior replaced, and even then it took forever to get rid of the lingering smell.

That sucks man. Luckily I've never been broken into, I guess it goes hand in hand with owning a 20 year old SAAB. Like my gf's dad said, "You could probably just leave the keys on the hood."

I like them a lot. I was more of a fan of their old website though, the new one is just too heavy on the plug-ins and takes forever to load on some computers. I usually get my shipment next day. Never noticed the date stamp, but that is pretty sweet.

In regard to the shellac health issue, it is a natural product (basically it's beetle crap). They use it in a lot of food products, for example the apples you buy in the supermarket are coated in shellac to make them shiny. Not sure how harmful it would be smoked, but I wouldn't worry too much...

As a Bills fan, I always had a "hard spot" for McNair and the rest of the Titans after they knocked us out of the playoffs that year, but man is this sad to hear. He seemed like a great guy and was definitely a great quarterback. May he RIP.
