Today's Smoke 2025

Secret Santa stick, thanks @Mavric !

My Father Connecticut, they call it a Corona Gorda for some reason but at 6x48 I'd call it a Toro.

Edit: Great morning stick with some tea (that I spilled all over trying to set up the pic). Mild My Father flavors with the Connecticut grass/hay/light cedar in the background.

I've had a few of these "newer style" Connies lately that have been pretty good, instead of just boring mild cigars for guys that only smoke while golfing.

Another of my HC everyday smokes. HC Black Gordo, 6X58, what a beast. As you can see there are some splits in the wrapper, part of it fell away at the front, but in a testament to the roller, the binder is holding and the burn line is just fine. Any waviness and it self-corrects quickly. It’s an older stick, somehow I probably got it too moist at some point and split the wrapper, but she’s at proper humidity now and smoking just fine! And I’m finally not FREEZING, about 60* and sunny after days of cold rain. 😎

Edit: Well, as you can imagine, looking at that wrapper, much of it fell away as I smoked the cigar. I actually only had to touch up the burn line once, though. Wasn't pretty, but was a decent smoke in the end!
