Yes and honestly, didn't like it. From what I've ready (not experienced) the bottles pre-Sazerac were much better. Again, just what I've read. I'm not opposed to high $$$ bottles, but it's always nice to find a solid bottle for a decent price.
Has anyone/does anyone have a review/opinion on James E Pepper barrel proof?
Love the Midwinters Night Dram. On the expensive side, but a truly great pour!
I have a bottle as well, I agree 100% with your opinion of it.View attachment 96897
Picked up a bottle of the Kirkland's Signature "Ready to Drink" Old Fashioned - 1L bottle for $17 at Costco over the weekend. Enjoyed it last night with the family during our Father's Day celebration. Out of the bottle - not bad! Thinking it's something great to have at parties during the summer - quick, easy and good! One of my favorite Rye whiskeys! Always a good go-to! @CBoukal was spot on with that recommendation!I’m spending next week with my brother at the beach. I’m not a big whiskey drinker as I prefer Scotch but he is. Picked up this bottle on the recommend of @CBoukal
I was thinking about getting a bottle of Blantons as I had never tried it before but they wanted $170 plus tax so I passed on it.

When did 3 Floyd's start making whiskey? I only know them for their beer.View attachment 97251View attachment 97252
106 proof - so as you can imagine, pretty spicy. But I’m loving the 51% rye, 49% barley mash. Nice subtle grassiness with a slightly sweet nuttiness. Loving 3 Floyd’s whiskeys!
