    Favorite Cohiba Size and Why

My favorite sizes are the Lanceros and the Corona Especiales. Unfortunately they are some of the worst rolled Cubans out there. They are all rolled at El Laguito and that factory has terrible quality control. My favorite Siglo's are the 5's, but the best bang for the buck for the entire...

Any other custom rollers out there?

Tough to beat Johnny and his prices. I think all the other high end rollers like La China charge stupid money for their cigars.

    Cigar Family is down

I want to thank everyone for the well wishes. My cigar smoking has definitely been curtailed but things should be getting back to some normalcy in the next month. Once the 17th of August passes, I can give you guys some of the details, you'll definitely get a couple of good laughs out of it...

I actually had to sell 10 grand worth of cigars to pay some of the legal bills. I still have a couple thousand cigars but no where near what I had. Thanks for the support gys.

Fuente Sampler Pack? Purchased? Worth it?

Fuente Hemingways and Don Carlos lines are in my opinion the finest Cameroon wrapped cigars on the market. They use only aged tobaccos and they are good to go right out of the box.

    Hemingway Signature Maduro

14 is high but where do you live? If you are in a state that has ridiculous tobacco taxes then the Msrp could be as high as 9.00.That is the most I would pay per stick. I personally do not care for Hemy maduros,I much prefer the Cameroon wrapped ones.

since wrappers = 60-70% of the flaver

With Cuban cigars my guess is that the wrapper accounts for maybe 20-40 percent of the flavor, while in non Cubans it can be as high as 80 percent. My figures are just guesses on my part and I have no first hand knowledge of any real numbers being out there. One example I use for non Cubans...

    Need a recommendation (Expresso Flavor)

The idea of the Padron 1964 Maduro with an espresso or latte or what ever coffee is the best solution. I actually prefer a nice cup of Cafe Du Monde with my Padrons. I find the heavy body of a coffee with chicory goes great with almost any cigar. Du Monde either hot or iced is my favorite...

    Temp question

jabba, as long as you can keep your humidity around 58-62 percent then your cigars will be fine. I can only get to 64-67 degrees in my cabinet but would definitely drop it lower if I could. If memory serves the best tobacconists in London keep their cigars in the high 50's.

LGC Medaille D`or No.1 Your opinion please

My only experience with these are 1998 versions. They are excellent cigars, creamy , smooth, very complex with some nice nose. They age extremely well and the 2002's that are now being sold should be pretty good.

    Seriously Impressed with Padron

I started smoking Padrons in the mid 90's and they have been as consistent back then as they are today. I smoke the regular line as my go to golf cigars, with the Magnum Maduro being my current favorite. I also keep the 6000, Ambassadors, Churchills and Palmas in stock at all times. The 1964...

    Cigar Aficionado....

In the beginning CA was the reason there was a cigar boom. They single handily created the boom with their magazine. It was a very good magazine up until around 1999 or so. They are now a joke when it comes to cigar content. Cigar Insider is also a joke, their ratings are ridiculous. The best...

Found a new Special Occasion Cigar!

I smoked one a few weeks ago and the cigar was very tasty. It was complex and rich tasting. It didn't have much nose to it which was a detraction for me. It is definitely a first cigar of the day, too mild to follow any cigar. The price is obviously a big factor when discussing this cigar. At...

Tenpin, where did these cigars come from? You might be able to save some people from ordering from these guys.

    Torano 1916 cameroon

Not a fan of these. When they came out I was hoping they would be in the same class as a Fuente Cameroon, but they were no where close in flavor. The only Cameroon I have found in the 3 dollar a stick range that is a good smoke are the Upmann Vintage Cameroons that JR was selling in the jars...

    Acid cigars

Acids are marketed towards the newbie who doesn't know any better. Real cigar smokers do not go anywhere near these scented pieces of crap. The Naturals are nothing I would smoke, people whose tastes I respect have told me their is nothing in that line worth smoking.

    Question about this cigar

When these smoke correctly( not plugged)they are fantastic cigars. They are very representative of the Monte flavor profile and have some excellent nose on them. I stopped buying these back in 00 because of consturction problems. A good friend of mine recently bought some new ones and said...

emodx, " The Master made some decent recommendations on cigars." Excccuuuuuuuusssseee Meeeeeeeeeeee. those recommendations are the best non Cubans on the planet. lololol I purposely left the Maximus off the list because I do not enjoy them. I don't know what it is, I love natural DC's but...
