It is really true!!!! I bought some 70% Climmax beads for my new 120 qt igloodor and to my amazement it works. Within a few days the humidity was exactly 70% and does not change. I wish I would have done this a couple of years do my regular humidors.

Get a Dehumidifier! Mold is no good period... whether for your smokes, furniture or your health in general. I keep my smokes in my finished basement and have two de-humidifiers going to keep the humidity at 50% (I have a fairly large finished basement). I have 2 humidors and one igloodor...

Good points. I always try to smoke outside, though winters in Wisconsin make it tough at times. I can honestly say that if I smoked inside a room with other smokers I would get sick often (I often get sick if I am in a room with cigarette smokers). I think tainted cigars may also be valid...

These are a great cigars! I tried them back in Jan and now have a box in my humidor. They are a bit pricy but I know a place online where you can pick a box up for about $42.00.

Try some Don Lino's. These are a great mild-med creamy smoke made by Leon Jimenez and cheaper than the regular Jimenez. This was my first cigar and still remain one of my favorite mild smokes!
