I think the Devils Weed are pretty good for the price. I like them even better now that they come in maduro. Another good cheap smoke I like are the Black Pearls. Especially the Rojo and Black Pearl.
They can't take the place of my Fuentes, but I don't mind putting half a stick down if I have to.
I just read online from Cigar Aficionado that two of the Fuente's warehouses in Dominican Republic were destroyed by fire. They lost some very good and rare tobacco. I am sure we will see an impact from this. Just glad nobody was hurt.
Fantastic review. Great read. You should try this for a living. I have a DL chisel in the humi now. My brother-in-law gave it to me after he smoked one and it kick his butt big time. It was as much fun watching him as it was reading your review. I will "man up" one day and smoke the DL. If I...
Man that is terrible. I sure hope you can recover. I have never had a bad Padron, from the top of the line to the bottom of the line. I enjoyed a Padron Ambassador fresh out of the box last nigh and it was pretty darn good.

The Lancero bundle is awfully tempting. I think I will have to hold off for a little while. I have smoked a few of the Lonnies I got from you last time and they have been great. I am waiting until around August to fire up some of the others.
Last night I reached into the humidor and came out with a Cohiba Extra Vigoroso. It has been sitting in there for about two months. It looked like a very strong cigar so I headed to the patio to take a seat.
I pulled the cello wrapper off and took a wiff. All the sudden I was whisked back to my...
I have never thought the VSG really lived up to all the hype. I have not been impressed by one. On the other hand, my brother-in-law loves them and thinks they are the only cigar worth smoking. I am trying to get him to broaden his horizon. He is kind of a one bourbon one cigar guy.
The patio. However, this winter it has become known as the smoking tent. I closed off an area with tarps, it is heated, and has satelite TV. Very comfortable, but I am ready for the spring to get here.
