Just had to top this wonderful thread. I have completed the prep work on this and have it wrapped up in the fridge overnight, then will hit the oven tomorrow mid-morning for a family get-together. It will make an excellent appetizer/snack while the prime rib is cooking later in the afternoon.
Maybe see if your local has any jars or nice ash trays that could be used as a backdrop for the cigars. For example if you could get your hands on a Tat Black jar or something similar, and throw a bunch of nice cigars in there.

Good to hear I'm not the only one with this problem! Part of the problem is that it's hard to keep track of them, when and where they're from. Maybe I need to get a cooler up and running again for a place to keep some of these.
