    What's on your plate today?

Last night we made a really good beef stew; carrots, shrooms, potatoes, celery, garlic, and rosemary. It was so good. Today we smoke a tritip with a ginger terkiyaki rub, it will be great!

What Beer Did You Drink Today (2018)

Dark Persuasion, it is a German chocolate cake themed beer. It was alright, a little sweet, but not overbearing. I would drink it again.

    Now Playing....(Movies and Reviews)

Waiting for the new Star Wars. I usually just make a couple trips a year to the theater. The action films are worth it for my money since the sound is usually hard to replicate even at home.

Maybe just a Packer fan then ! Yeah Spotted Cow, only available in WI. On the rare occasion I needed to visit WI, cases of Spotted Cow, cheese curds and landjaeger would be brought back.

What Beer Did You Drink Today (2017)

That is a great one, I saw they had some new beers available at the store today. I remember you were from WI, right? I drove through WI this summer and got a case of Spotted Cow, one of my favorites when I lived in Chicago.

    Overlooked Cuban Lines

I am guessing the Perla is the way to go? It seems with these lines that have less notierty, the smaller vitolas are the best.

    Overlooked Cuban Lines

I was thinking about this the other day. What are some the overlooked Cuban lines of cigars that are great, but just don't have the name notoriety. What I noticed is that most of the famous ones I tried, have a non-Cuban counterpart. Usually these aren't close to their Cuban namesakes. My...

    Friends of CP Remembered

Sad to see these names here. I remember a lot of the avatars from these members in the 2000s, they always had great contributions to the community. It is good to see the faces behind the screen names, I know they are missed.

    Smokehead

Anyone try this one? Got a bottle and it is a great Ardbeg or Lagavulin like scotch. Tastes a little young, but not too harsh in the throat, which is what I like about it. Lots of peat and salt. However at $50 a bottle, Ardbeg and Laphroaig are still better buys in my opinion. Knock the...
