Spent New Years Eve in a B&M and had a Ashton VSG Illusion.

This past saturday I went to PB cuban cigars in manhatten. Bought 3 robustos and a torp. Gave my friend the torp which he loved but I had a robusto and it seemed really bitter. Gonna let it age a bit since the cigars are made on location and are fresh.

I RARELY smoke away from home, unless its at someone elses place. When im home I use my byrd robin to cut cigars and a master single flame utility torch to light. If im away from home, same cutter but i carry a cheap 3 flame torch my friend got for me.

Sounds like everything is good to go if the humidity stays when the shot glass is removed. The adding of the cigars shouldn't really drop the humidity because ideally the cigars should be around that percentage anyways. Just give it some time to stabilize. If they're completely dry, well...

I do pretty much what others have said. First i let it sit a bit to see if it'll even out itself. If not i wet the fast burning side a bit. If that doesnt work then i'll flash burn the slow side and then blow out once. If it still burns very unevenly after all that and the cigar isnt anything...

Well I bought a Drymistat about 2 weeks ago. Also bought a hygrometer from radio shack a week ago and it tested to 76% (so +1). Well in my tupperdor with approx 20-25 cigars the hygrometer keeps on reading at approx 75%. Meanwhile when I tossed in another 20 cigars the humidity went to 70%. Took...
