    Vinotemp setup with new trays

That's a nice looking setup you have there. I have a small wine fridge that may be "repurposed" here if I continue to see threads like this.

    Hemingway Maduros

I picked up a couple at Tampa Sweethearts, and, if I rememeber correctly, they limited it to 2 sticks like they do with Anejo's. I wasn't even going to pick any up until the guy encouraged me by saying - "I doubt you can get these easily." Thankfully he recognized I was a newbie and led me in...

    Salt testing a digital hygrometer

Been about 4 hours, and I am up to 63%. I double bagged it, and put it in a tupperware container. I will see where I stand in another 24 hours. Thanks for the suggestions guys.

It is water and salt. Not sure where my head was at.

    Salt testing a digital hygrometer

I have heard analog hygros being off a large amount, but after I salt tested my digital hygrometer, it only reached 58% RH. I even replaced the battery and did it again (ziploc bag, wet sand in a teaspoon measuring cup). Can the hyrgrometer possibly be off 17 points? I am giving serious...

Got an Idea .... Tracking Inventory!

Glad I didn't start my excel inventory. This is much better. Now I just need to learn access again. Has been about 7 years. Should be fun. Thanks for putting this together.

    Getting Married

Well boys, taking the plunge on Saturday. In front of 213 of my closest friends and relatives, I am getting married. I know I have not posted a ton, I mostly lurk and read (and from the sounds of some of the posts - that seems to be encouraged). Any advice from the members of this board? And...

    First Interview tomorrow!

I remember going through this process. If I can give you any advice - handwritten thank you notes. It's almost a lost art now because of e-mail. This is a very subtle way to set yourself apart from your other interviewees. Good luck on round #2. Jamie

Recommendations for a villa on St. Martin

I have used VRBO.com a couple times with great success. Rather than dealing with an agency, you deal directly with the homeowners (save $$$). I actually had such good experiences, I recommended it to my parents who used it to find a place in the Finger Lakes for a long weekend. Via the website...

    J&R Trick or Treat

Like Cookie 1978, I also took advantage of MRepp's own Halloween Sampler last year. If he does it, I am number #2 in line behind Cookie.

    Short Story

Ironic - picked up a couple of these last night and a Padron at a B&M near my hotel in Virginia. Very excited to try them.

    Just got engaged

Took the plunge myself about six weeks ago - Congratulations man. I had a very nice ISOM the night after my engagement - one of the best cigars I ever had. If I were you, I would go out and get my hands on the nicest thing you can find - this only happens once a lifetime - might as well...

    Watcha reading?

Anna Karenina. May be the first book over 500 pages I have ever attempted to read. Rather interesting thus far. For some reason, Russian history fascinates me.
