I age alomost all of my gigars for about 4 years...but I also always open every bow inspect them and smoke one from every box before they go into the humidor! Take the cello off and look at your babies. It will not effect the aging process.

Yeah..You have to watch rags soaked in stain as well. I typically use Sherwin Williams stain and my local rep told me about a guy who burned down a customers house because of a pile of rags filled with stain the ignited.

Glass is nice looking, but I would tend to stay away from anything that would provide any type of direct or indirect light on your cigars. It is not good for them and they will fade in color.
