Fair?

I guess but ultimately it's YOUR decision Rod and you can do anything you want. You decided to pull the "News and Politics" forum without a vote and if you want to institute new rules or change existing rules that's totally your call.
Bottom line is if people don't like what you do, they can leave.........

CC: It sounds like you don't recall why the forum was pulled. It was a test for one month, and I said BEFORE I even added the forum that it was a test for ONE MONTH ONLY. I never created the forum as a permanent ficture, and that was very clear before I created it. Politics does not belong in a forum/community dedicated to cigar smoking. That's why there are policitical forums on the 'net. Even if politics is your career, that's great. Even though Information Technology/Networking is my career I don't have a computer section here. It simply makes no sense. I want to make it clear why the politics forum was pulled and that in fact it was never designed to remain in place for good. Read my previous post's if you beg to differ. Also, if someone has a problem with someone else, take it up privately. Why open a whole can of worms on the public forums? If you can't resolve it privately and you are 100% sure the guy it out to screw you and others, then (and only then) should it be made public. I've had trades go wrong in the past, and I have taken it up personally and 95% of the time it's resolved. If you want to make every little incident public, than that sounds like someone who's very dramatic (drama queen) and enjoy's flame wars.
Please stop with the "It's your decision Rod" or it's "your site do what you want" mentality. I listen to what you guys say/want and I'm fair. This site belongs to all of us as a community. If it was my site, I would do what I want and not care what you guys think. I'm trying to create a friendly cigar community. I stopped posting at the other forums quite some time ago due to all the flaming and drama BS. I'm not going to allow it to penetrate this site. The doors always open for those who wish to be dramatic, to leave.
