Well, this is my 1,000th post. besides being an undeniable declaration that I spend too much time here, it reminds me of how much I have learned here.

I came to this site a recreational cigar smoker. I liked it, I think I believed that I knew a little bit about it, and I wanted to know more and gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of it.
I came to this site having been developing in the hobby for 10 years. I never had any idea how deep one could go with cigars, nor what a rich world was out there. Between a great B&M I found at about the same time (thanks JimD!!!) and the knowledgeable, generous BOTL's and FOGs on this site, I have learned, smoked, and apreciated more in the past year of smoking than in all those before it. People have bombed, gifted, traded and sold me many cigars I likely never would have tried without this site. Others have turned me on to sources and vendors that I never would have or could have known or dealt with without their help. I am a better cigar smoker, a more knowledgeable cigar smoker, and a more humble-in-my-level-of-knowledge cigar smoker for having read so much and interacted so often with the members here.

So, for everything you have shared with me, taught me, and let me share, teach and pass on to others, THANK YOU CigarPass.

And thanks Rod for keeping this place around.

Now back to unreasonable amounts of posting.
