Fellas,

Using the search tool, I've found that in the past Fast4Dr has run the annual CP March Madness Pool. I've also noticed that he hasn't logged on since May '06. So me thinks he won't be doing it this year.

I'm just putting out some "feelers" early to see how many of us are interested in it this year. I know that Fast4Dr used Marchpools.com in the past, I'm not very familiar with that, but I'm sure it's easy to figure out. Or a totally different method could be used.

I guess here's what I'm asking:

1. Who's all up for a March Madness Cigar Pool for CP this year?

2. Does anyone know if Fast4Dr will come back again to host this year?

3. Is anyone planning on or itching to host it this year?

4. If no one else out there is looking to do so, would anyone object to me taking the reins?

Just off the top of my head, with little thought, I was thinking a buy-in of 3 cigars value no less than $10.00 a piece. Winner takes that whole thing.

Thoughts? Recommendations? Criticisms?

I'm all ears.
 
Ok, looks like I have positive data that Fast4Dr WILL NOT be running this years pool hehe. That's fine.

I have no issues running this as long as those participating do not as well.

Keep the posts of interest coming, and feel free to throw in some suggestions if you have them. I've got a few others myself, but I'd like to hear from you guys first.
 
I'm in!!!! How you run it is of no consequence to me. However, run it with military precision rather than civilian disorder. :laugh: Thanks again for serving brother. :thumbs:
 
I'm in! And what is wrong with civilian disorder? It's what keeps military intelligence in check! :laugh:
 
I am interested. I am new here, but love the Tourney. Will it be limited to NC cigars or will Habanos be part of the mix? Thanks.

There won't be a restriction to NC or ISOM. The only restriction will probably be 3 'gars of a $10.00 value each ($30.00 total).

Turn out is looking pretty solid so far, we'll most likely have a 1st and 2nd place prize.

Keep the interest coming.

I wasn't aware that Cohibasurfer ran one in the past. I would encourage him to do so again this year, hell...I'd probably even join up. More chance to win some 'gars, hehe.

But I'll be running this one. Still a lot of time to get it smoothed out, just wanted to see what the interest was so that I could get started on it. Lookin' good so far.
