YO Lucasbuck:

How was the movie, ya big 'ol dork?

Good, not great. I agree it is far superior to the last two but still far inferior to the first three films. I was surprised how dark it was. I think most younger kids will be put off by that. And my biggest complaint about these latest installments is the same as Andrew's. Where is the humor and memorable dialogue ??? Nowhere to be found.

I think I'll take a nap now :p

I'm assuming you went dressed up as Han Solo?

Hell no! I'm not that big a dork :D I only dress up for weddings and funerals. Otherwise you'll find me in shorts and a t-shirt whether it's 10 or 110 ;)

Well I figured since Han Solos outfit was the closest to a "Western" outfit, you'd pick his.

:sign:

Wish I could wear shorts while working.

I saw it today
IT WAS GREAT!!!(not really)...THE ACTION SCENES WERE AWE-INSPIRING(I am so sick of cg)THE SCORE WAS WONDERFUL (it really was)
YODA IS WHUPASS!!!(cg Yoda makes me dizzy)

it was awesome!!!! but the theatre I saw it in was hot as $%*#! it made it a bit less enjoyable

I just watched the original Star Wars to see if it was just fond memories that made me prefer it to the recent episodes I, II, and III. Sadly, it's not just nostalgia -- they are better films, period.

Tragically, Lucas went back and redid some scenes in the original Star Wars movies to add more useless crap. The unadulterated original episodes IV, V, and VI are head and shoulders above the "prequels" that have come out in recent years.

They have the glitzy computer graphics, but they lack interesting characters, memorable lines, interesting stories, and they also lack heart.

Saw it...I enjoyed it. I can't think of an $8.75 cigar that I would have rather spent my money on and gotten as much pleasure from. (Is that blasphemy? :D )

The only one I saw on opening night was the first original Episode IV, the best one EVER! :p

Heck, I still haven't watched the last one, episode II. :0

Empire Strikes Back IMHO has to be the best of the "original" three. Lucas should have hired the original director for the prequels..let's face it, Jar-Jar has to be on of the most hated characters of ALL time. Why Lucas added to the originals is beyond me, and not having an option to purchase the original or the original "supped up" was a bad move.
I have to agree with Moki.

As I said - sorry, I couldn't resist... It was funny the first time, it's still funny!!! (I especially love the "No, really - do you ever talk to woman without giving them your credit card number."

If that was you who posted it first I AM DEEPLY INDEBTED TO YOU (although you owe me for a pair of soiled shorts - I peed my pants I laughed so hard...)

Depends, my friend.

I've watched it 5 times. I liked the part about the lady being pregnant:

"That's the last time he'll see female genitalia"
