And where do you plan on doing that? Last I checked, none of the Mankato/St. Peter theaters were showing the movie until noon tomorrow, unless that's changed in the last few hours.

I'll wait a week or so, then see it for sure.

The only opening weekend movies I see are all Marvel (Fantastic 4, Spiderman, X-Men,etc.) As a stockholder I feel it's my responsibility... ;)

No movie for me on opening night. Too hectic. I seem to enjoy when the movies are ready to be tossed from the movie theater. No body there. Plus, I have free movie tickets and you can't use them on new movies. :(

However, I watch most movies at home on my home theater. It's much better than the movie theater, IMHO.

Me!!

I saw Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith tonight... it is definitely the best of the 3 recent "prequels" to me sure. The first half of the movie was okay; the second half was excellent.

I still find that all 3 of the "prequels" are lacking the memorable characters and lines compared to the originals... "Get this walking carpet out of my way" -- "Did ya hear me baby... hold together" -- and a bit of creativity has been lost as well, I think.

Those personalities made you care about the characters in the first movies... the rogue Han Solo -- the bitchy princess -- the lines you'd remember for years to come. That's been lacking in all of these 3 prequels..

However, Sith is a good movie; the best of the "prequels" by far. Definitely darker, few punches pulled, etc. Not exactly an magnus opus, but you will not regret going to see it, IMHO.

My son went to the midnight showing with about 15 of his frat brothers.

I'll wait until Netflix gets it in. Don't like going to the movies anymore, too many freakin' distractions(kids acting up, babies crying, cell phones, a**holes talking during the movie, etc.).

Yes, I know, I'm a curmudgeon. And proud of it! :D

I wholeheartedly agree, but for whatever reason, last night was perfect. I guess if you go to a movie at 12:01 the day it comes out, you REALLY want to see it. Besides the really excited super geeks when Vader showed up and a few other key moments, it was perfect movie theater behavior.

The Uber Dark One ....

12:01 Baby!

I did it for the last two, so I had to do it for this one. This should be the best in this trilogy by far.
