Meat is murder! Tasty, tasty murder.
There is a new cigar on a retailer's site called 'Flor de Baloney' that is taking shots at the RP Vintage lines. I've read Lew Rothman's rants before about how there could not possibly be any tobacco left from the early 90s as it would have been used up in the boom years. What he has to say does make some sense, but is it true?
If the claims made by Rocky Patel about the RP Vintage lines are false, I'll be disappointed. I like them a great deal and would likely still smoke them, but being a fan of RP products in general, I would probably be reluctant to try any new stuff. I just don't like blatant dishonesty in marketing. I also don't like it when businesses take blatant shots at their competition. Sell me your product, don't attack your competitors. That is not the way to win my business...
Am I just naive to believe that the tobacco is as old as it is claimed? Is it all marketing hype?
