Ashton Estate Sun Grown (ESG)

Just heard/read about the new Ashton Estate Sun Grown (ESG) that is going to be released this year around the Holidays. It will come in only one size, a 7" x 49 churchill/double corona. The blend is supposedly similar to the VSG, but has been tweaked a bit. The wrapper is a Dominican grown on Chateau Fuente, different from the Opus X wrapper. Supposedly, this is the first cigar to ever use this wrapper.

Anyone have any additional information on this cigar? Paging Moki.

I believe they are going to release one new size of this for each of the next 5 years to commemorate Ashton's anniversary. They are supposed to be somewhat similar to the Ashton VSG Estate Reserves that came in the Limited Edition humidor.

Yeah the new one won't be out for awhile.

As for these being like ER's, it'll definatly be something to try. Er's look and taste almost like a VSG, but man, they smell of opus. Hopefully they won't be the same price, nor will they be as limited. ???
