Fishing is great, scenery is great, summer is great. The rest takes some getting used to! :laugh: ;)


If you ever get up near Duluth, let me know. There's no place to smoke, but you'd be welcome at my humble abode for an afternoon of food, drink, and cigars.

Mark Twain was heard to say that “The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in Duluth.” :laugh: So bring your coat just in case. :D

I don't know if he actually ever said that (I have my doubts), but it's a nice little thing they put in all the tourist stuff.


Duluth is beautiful all year round, but summer is the highlight. DEFINITELY put it on the list.
