Well, he was due Dec. 11th and my wife was scheduled for a c-section on Dec. 1st....
However, I guess he just couldn't wait and had to come last night. 6lbs. 6.5 oz a few minutes before midnight! We don't even have a name yet, thinking we had a month left.
He's fairly early at 34 weeks (and a few days) so his lungs are quite mature. Had to go to the ICU on a ventilator and will probably be there for a few days, but he's already improving and hopefully will be home within a week.
Anyway, the inlaws were caring for our daughter (19 months) and I just came home to give them a break and take a shower.
Odd, but as soon as my daughter took a nap, my first thought was to post to CP. Although he's early and in the ICU we're very happy to have him here and just wanted to share the joy!
