....beer :)

I had planned on having my favorite combo of Guinness and Smithwicks tonight and pound a few Black and Tans, but the store did not have any Smithwicks in....so I had to think quick.

So I grabbed another one of my favorite Ales instead....Fat Tire.

I've tried a few variations on B&Ts and haven't had anything that quite measures up to the Smithwicks version, but this actually worked out pretty well. I'm halfway through my first and very satisfied. If there is any Smithwicks around I'm sure I'll be grabbing that instead, however, I'm glad that I now have a good back up.

Anyone else tried this version?

Interesting combo...I'm a big fan of Fat Tire. It's my favorite easy drinking beer. I bet the the combo goes well. I might try it tomorrow night. I got a free brolly from Guiness several months ago. It makes for a well poured Black and Tan.

Well, I'm on number 7 now and they are only gettin' better.

I would recommend at least giving them a try. I'm curious how anyone else thinks they are.
