Did some looking and did not see the answer to this one so here goes:

When preparing a box pass, I know it is nice to have the smokes in the little baggies all numbered and such, but is it also good to include a number of empty bags and a marker for others to place their puts in? Or is it expected that the participant provide their own bags and mark them accordingly?

Just curious. Thinking of starting a pass next month and am not sure if I have enough baggies.

I've only been in two passes and one supplied extra baggies whereas the other did not. If I were to offer a pass, I'd put some baggies in.

Wilkey

here's my .02 cents. if you dont put it in the box for people, i probably wont get done. try to make it as simple as possible for the participants.

Extra baggies- yes.

Marker - don't bother.

I've got some bags if you need them, just LMK.

both puppy passes I have started I have had extra baggies in, Maybe not enough the first time, but I did put them in!

Always a good thing, as not everyone has them. But mist everyone has a pen...

also good to have paperwork- everyone's address, a list of the included cigars for everyone to write down their takes and puts, directions for those that need them, etc...

when my pass comes back Mike, you're more than welcome to come over and see how it was all put together?

I've always put extra bags in there and a sharpee as well.

Just out of curiosity, and because I know a few others will ask, have you been in many other passes before?

Thanks for the input guys.

Think I will take Swissy up on his offer and check out his pass when it gets back up here. Give me a good idea on what to do when I put together my first one.

I'd suggest being involved in a few before you start one.

Very good advice...... I'm sure someone will be looking to start one up after the New Year

Also a very good idea to make sure there is enough room in the box for cigars and some good padding

i'd like to offer the same advice as Brandon and Tommy. Join a few passes, read the sticky's and then consider starting a pass. Tis' the season for box passes.
