Well last week i was able to visit the Casa Fuente shop in Vegas at the Ceasar's Forum Shops.

Supposedly april 8th was going to be the grand opening so me and gtphale decided to go there to clebrate in the grand opening.. well much to our disappointment they were still in the process of finishing up the store.

Luckily we were able to sneak a peak at the insde of the store.. :D .

When you first walk in ..to the left of the store is a bar area with a long bar area with about 6-8 bar stools.. I beleive one will be able to enjoy many fine congnacs..armanacs and single malt's along with a brevy of other drinks.. in the center of the store is what appears to be some glass top display booths which will most probably carry cigars/humidors/cutters/other cigar related stuff. The best part of this place i think will be the llarge walk in humidor they have towrads the rear of the store. It appears to run the entire lenght of the rear of the store.. I say 8-10 ppl would be able to walk in and not bump into each other.. Well this is the best way i can describe it. and to the right are a bunch of empty shelves which will probably carry many Fuente non-cigar related things.. Maybe some A.Fuente shirts..LOL!!

Seeing as we were peeking thru the open door while the guys worked in there..

The humidors are still bare and the shelves and walls are also bare. I think it will be another month befor they are ready to open.

I was able to snap a few shots of the outside of the store.. but unfortunately i am unable to load any pics up to cigarphotos.com..also i was not allowed to take any pics from the inside of the store.. sorry!

SO when they are back up I will put them up.

Seems like i am a month too early for everythign..

Wynn Hotel open next month..
Fuente store "SUPPOSEDLY" according to the hot woman who works the mall said it opened in may along with the other new stores being built.
And of course KA at the MGM was on a short vacation..and returned this week..ughh!!LOL!!

I am going out to Vegas May 1 through 5. We will check it out while we are out there. I will see if I can get some pics.

Was just in Vegas this past weekend and went by the Casa Fuente store. They were open and fully stocked. And, when I say "fully stocked" I mean fully stocked. They had everything. WOAM, Untold Story, Hemingways (Natural and Maduro), Hemingway Classic Sungrown, 8-5-8 Sungrown, Anejos, Opus, Ashton VSGs, etc. And they had BOXES of all of the above. Unfortunately, they were a bit overpriced on everything but that didn't stop me from picking up 2 boxes of 8-5-8 Sungrowns. :p It really was a beautiful sight to behold.

The shop is really beautiful inside. Very nice bar, huge walk-in humidor, and a ton of Fuente products (humidors, lighters, hats, clothes, etc.) for sale in the main area. They also have a nice set-up outside the store where you can smoke and order drinks and be served by Gina. Gina alone is worth the trip to Casa Fuente. :whistling:

Official grand opening is early June but they are fully stocked and open for business right now. If you want hard to find Fuente cigars it's worth a trip (if you are in Vegas) but expect to pay a bit of a premium.

So the Fuente store charges over list for Fuente products? Seems odd considering their stand on overcharging.

That's what I thought as well. Apparently, they are inline with typical cigar prices on The Strip though. ??? The little cigar store in the airport was selling OpusX Fuente Fuente for $95.00/stick. I laughed at him...

How much are the prices Jingles? Just a rough estimate. I'm planning a trip to Vegas sometime in the next 2 months.

I didn't even look at Opus or Anejos. WOAM were ~$20 as were Untold Story (slightly higher), and Hemi Classic Sungrowns($500/box). The Fuente rep apparently scolded the lady for selling Classic Sungrowns by the box. His words were, in effect, once these sell out you may never get more. 8-5-8 Sungrowns were $11/stick ($264/box) - and they had a TON of boxes. That's really all I looked at closely. Ashton VSGs were around $15 to $25 if I recall. The one thing they DIDN'T have were BTLs. Even if you don't buy anything it's definitely worth a trip IMO. Really nice store. Like I said, you pay a premium but I thought it was worth it for the 8-5-8 Sungrowns. Say hi to Gina for me (you can't miss her).

Those prices are pretty much inline with anything on the strip..if anybody wants anything from the store. I will call them and check on the price and availabilty, and once a week I can go down there and buy stuff and mail it off to anyone on the board..whatever it happens to be. I work right down the street from where they are, and would not mind going there often.

now how to get into that grand opening...

If anyone near that place picks me up a Casa Fuente cigar, GREAT things will happen to them! :D

CFCF (a charitable organization), not Fuente, gets the proceeds from this store licensing. Fuente is the manufacturing portion only.

Casa Fuente is a joint venture between Robbie Levin (of Holts and Ashton fame) and Fuente. Fuente provides the name and stock, Levin runs the show. In return, Fuente gets a % of sales, which goes to its CFCF charity.

The rent at the Forums shops is among the highest in the world; you'll actually find that the Casa Fuente prices for Opus are lower than other shops on the Vegas strip... believe it or not.

The Casa Fuente cigars won't be available for sale until after the grand opening in early June.

I think i'm gunna have to plan a trip to Vegas to see this place. I'm hearing too many rumors to pass it up! :)

I just got back from there and they didnt have them yet. The guy in the shop said they would be getting them in a month or so. I did buy some Opus though becuase I can buy them around here. They did have the cheapest prices on the strip by far though.
