I have been looking for a good program (preferably Mac, but PC will do) to keep track of my inventory. I would like to be able to input a picture and all other relevant information. I have been contemplating writing my own as I haven't found anything to suit my needs, but I am no programmer. :sign:

Anyone know of any program out there that will keep track of cigar inventory? TIA...

There was a thread on this not too long ago but I am unable to find it. I was looking for it a few days ago and figured I would wait until I had more free time to do a good search. Well, looked all morning and still cant locate it.

The thread actually had a link to a program that had alot of info and pics of various sticks in it already. It was setup like a data base and looked fairly straight forward.

If anyone happens to find the thread and/or program I would like to give it a shot as well.

edit for spelling

I'm still trying to decide which I like better, Cigar List v1.0 at http://www.bluesmokecigarbar.com/ or Cigar breifcase at http://www.vaagan.com/cigarbriefcase/. Cigar List has a rating function similar to CA that Cigar Briefcase doesn't have, but other than that, I think I like the briefcase far better and the briefcase does let you add pic's.

Hmmm, I guess I've decided after all. It's the briefcase for me. :)

Briefcase was the one I was looking for. It does just about everything I need it to do. Thanks

I am going to see how difficult it would be to add an export to web type feature.

I'm going to try my hand at making a Filemaker database/App. :whistling:

I have a Mac and I use FIlemaker for all my databases. It would be perfect for this.

You can always share it with others too.

FM can save to different application types and of course on the Mac you can save to a .PDF using OS X.

Well, got briefcase up and running- now I'm depressed...

I thought I had more in my coolidor but according to the 'case I only have 318 cigars! :0
Hahaha... guess I really am a n00b! Anyone wanna swap briefcase files for a laugh and see what we all have 'in stock'? could be a fun way to arrange some trades... :whistling:
