Coolidor Help

I put shelves in mine by:
Cutting dowel-sized diameter hole halfway through a 1/2" X 1" board.
Double sided tape these two oposing sides of cooler with the holes facing each other.
Cut dowels that are just a touch longer thean the distance from side to side to the bottom of the oposing holes.
Dowels snap into holes forming shevles (several dowels, making a rack in the horizontal)
Tension of slightly too long dowels force 1/2 X 1 boards against sides.
No glue, air can circulate through shelves.

Not to pick on anyone, but the truth is I've never been one to think adding shelves, liners, trays, etc. to a cooler is worthwhile. When I ran coolers, (four of 'em to be exact) I used cedar boxes for the loose sticks and just piled the boxes in them. Humidified space is always at a premium, and this way I could move things around as needed. As space ran short, bags of smokes went in between the boxes. The cedar in the boxes provided all the RH ballast required and my RH was solid with bags of beads in them.

Any glue or other adhesives is bad news, IMHO.

One guys opinion - B.B.S.
