Evidently not natural causes. The AP story states the was found hanging in his hotel room and Thai officials say it is apparantly a suicide.
 
I got to meat him once when I was very very young they filled kung fu in a town by where I grew up and grandpa took us to see it. Very sad someone has to get to that point in life rp
 
As a Seventies kid, Kung Fu was a phenomenon just completely of its time and the moment. Way more than just a TV show, to so many of us at that age of self-discovery when it aired.

I'm just heartbroken.

Wow...I am deeply saddened by this news. I grew up watching Kung Fu and have always enjoyed his work. I loved him in the Kill Bill series. I hope he is at peace. I have never been able to understand suicide as a way out. RIP young grasshopper.
 
Ya sex act gone wrong, Murder, or suicide. Depends on whether the hands were tied behind his back I guess.

Had a neighbor kid commit suicide in this fashion when I was a kid. Also read reports of sex act gone wrong at the local reservoir years ago.
 
Heard on the radio that he was given a safe word in Thai that he got wrong. I can only imagine what my friends and family would think about hearing I died with one end of a rope around my neck, the other around my choicest body parts screaming "banana". I wish I could see their faces!

Humorist P.J. O'Rourke once said to make sure you've always got a book going that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it . . . I guess the corollary to that would be never, EVER risk your life doing something that you'd be mortified to be caught at while still living. :blush:

Shame. All those deeds, that fame, and this humiliating little coda at the end to overshadow it all.

That is a completely embarrassing way to die. I had a former customer of mine who was found dead years ago with a bag over his head and cord around his neck that ran to his feet. Found naked laying on a couch in his home with porn playing on the TV. Made a big splash in the newspapers at that time.

You never know what people do behind closed doors.
