Do you drink energy drinks?

Do you drink energy drinks (ie: Monster, 5Hr, Nos, Red Bull, etc)?

Think I'll try some of that zero carb stuff at Costco, I've been lazy and stopped buying sugar free Red Bull. Plus the big kids like to stop by and stock up on drinks in the garage.
 
I've had red bull on a few occaisions. Then didn't touch the stuff for years. At a gig a few months back, I was really tired (3rd night in a row of playing 9-close shows) so my friend told me to try a new local energy drink without taurine in it. It's called Plasma. http://www.drinkplasma.com/ The green stuff (Fusion) is better than the low carb "red" version.

I'm hooked. It wakes you up with making you jittery and there's no crash.

Sorry, I sound like a pitchman.

Yeah, Red Bull is just not my cup of tea, so I agree with you there. As far as scotch goes, I thought we were talking about energy drinks? ???
 
The fizzy Red Bull is not my taste...
But when I was in Thailand they sold a Red Bull that came in a cough medicine type glass bottle that was a syrup.
That stuff was great!
Get an ice bucket dump a bottle of that in, a pint of Thai rum or whiskey, and soda water, coke or sprite throw some straws in and race yer friends to the bottom!
Good times!

Here I sometimes drink sugar free AMP, 5 hour Energy, or whatevers sugar free in a pinch.

Coffee all day, just about everyday! :whistling:

I just can't bring myself to drink any of that kind of stuff.
 
I think I've developed quite the immunity to caffeine. I've been on a NOS Energy fruit punch kick lately though. I've tried pretty much all of them though.
 
diet rockstar and a Opus xXx for my 3am drives to the fishing boat.... wouldn't miss the combination for the world!
 
I attended a conference recently where speakers were talking about prescription drugs, drug endangered children, child pornography, human trafficking, and energy drinks. I didn't even know why that was included. So, I checked it out. The jist of it is that kids/teens who consume energy drinks regularly are developing addictive behaviors that are off the charts compared to others who don't consume them. Now pair that up with all the prescription drug abuse that's going around.

Interesting stuff. And keep your kids as far away from this crap as you can (and caffeine in general).

Yeah man. Too true. My wife is a dental hygenist and sees little kids with rotted out teeth (even baby teeth with cavities) due to sugared drinks. Mainly pop/soda. But even juice boxes/capri sun/etc.

Water & milk is best for kids and even young teens. Keep the soda/energy drinks to a minimum.

Sounds like a depressing conference you went to... :(
 
I like coffee too much to mess with those. Tried a few a while back and never really cared for the taste. Black strong coffee works best for me.
