I think Schlafly's Pumpkin Ale is better then DFH's. I also think Midnight Sun's Treat is way better then Southern Tier's. It is just a bit harder to get.

Ever try the Chicory Stout?
I agree that most of the DFH are so and so but I enjoy the WWS, Chicory Stout and Punkin Ale.

Right on! I feel the same way. The only other DFH besides the WWS that I've liked was the Palo Santo.

Yeah, I enjoy the Chicory, the India Brown, and the 60 and 90. Most of their beers are solid, just nothing I go out of my way for other than WWS.

I don't get it.
I'm fairly new to sampling a vast array of beer, but I have enjoyed trying DFH's offerings.
For one thing, the beers all have distinct flavors, making the exploration a lot more enjoyable.
And I have found some that I would purchase on a regular basis, to keep for my moods, or my guests.
Some of the big names I've tried seem to all taste too similar.
Also, considering what is available in my area, I could do a lot worse.
