The Coast Guard is transiioning from the Dated 9mm Baretta to a .40 Cal. I don't know if the manufacturer has be contracted yet though. I liked shooting the 9mm, but if you aren't used to it, it can be dificult to master. It takes a lot of trigger pressure in order to fire the weapon. So it is fairly easy to pull or throw a shot until you are used to shooting it.
