<$3 Padilla Series 68 Golden Bear. This one looks a lot like the Series 68 original and is sometimes hard to tell them apart.

Connecticut wrapper over Nicaraguan long fillers. This stick gets good reviews and the literature says mild/medium - but this one is simply mild.

Rocky Patel The Edge Fumas - in the Corojo wrapper.
This is a mixed filler version that smokes remarkably like its' namesake.

Under three bucks, of course.

A decent full bodied stick with above average pepper.

Cigars International EL Cheapo Dominican Churchill bundle. 30 sticks at less than 94 cents each, delivered.

Here's the 1st one out of the mailbox. Ojo de Buey (eye of the porthole).

Sort of a medium stick with pronounced cedar and a bit of spice.

A mellow+ Nicaraguan stick with Nicaraguan filler - Habano binder - Ecuador Connecticut wrapper.

I get these when they're under three bucks. They've always been consistent and well behaved cigars.

La Palina 02 is rolled in Honduras by Plascencia and is the maduro version of the La Palina Number series.

This is my first one of these but I thought I'd give it a try for $2.17. They're five bucks at Cigar Page this morning.

Costa Rican wrapper over Honduran/Nicaraguan fillers and Honduran binder.

Medium+ and well behaved. A little more spice than I like. Maybe.

Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur.

This is a mellow Honduran cigar with a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper over Honduran, Dominican, and Nicaraguan fillers.

- discovered in an unopened box at the bottom of tote #1. It's a mystery..... except that I'm pretty sure I didn't pay more than $3 a piece for these.



Smooth. Light spice. Well behaved.
