Hey everyone,

I am another newbie, reading the posts last evening it seems there are a lot of us  . I would say my cigar knowledge is itty bitty tiny at this point, I am struggling with seasoning my humidor and learning all of your lingo...typical newb. I enjoy a few different cigars my favorite at the moment is the Carlos Tarano 1916 Cameroon, I also enjoy most things Cohiba (Dominican I am WAY too poor for havans) and I am looking forward to some Nicaraos that I will be receiving in the mail soon enough from cigar bid...I hope.

Other than that I look forward to some great advice from the community and eventually giving some of my own.

Oh yeah and while I struggle with my friggin humidor currently I have a tupper'dor...cause they rule.

Welcome to CP from another PA resident. You should fill out your profile, good things happen to those that do. :whistling:

Welcome to CP!! Was engaged to a girl from Chestnut Hill once; lucky for me she broke it off (the engagement that is).

Word of advice on CBid: Steer clear of any unknown brands. You may get lucky, they will probably be cheap, but more than likely in a few months you'll be looking in your Coolerdor (oh yeah, that's waiting for ya too :) ), scratching your head and wondering what EVER possessed you to buy those and how can you get rid of them!

Bid on the good stuff, check Cigar Price for a survey of costs, set your maximum bid, opt for once a week shipping, and hope. You WILL score some decent smokes over time.

And have fun!! It's a hobby for cryin' out loud!!! :D

Almost forgot: jump in on the Newbie Sampler thread. you will NOT
regret it. :whistling:
