I have quite a few family/friends new to cigar smoking. Given that that first cigar experience can make or break someone taking up the habit or not, what's your number one go-to stick (infused or not) that you would offer someone out of your humidor who is new to smoking, that has the lowest likelihood of turning them off to cigars?

When a friend visited we went to a lounge and I went to the Padron section and told him to pick out anything in it. Padron is incredibly consistent and very good. That being said I only have a cpl left on hand. They have gotten pricey.

Charter oak from foundation is a solid buy at the price point.

Good tip!

Macanudo Gold is a perfect beginner cigar. Very mild, but a beginner should find it flavorful. Padron, or other cigars would be the next step to my opinion. My first suggestion wouldn't be likely to give anyone nicotine sickness. That would definitely make somebody a one and done!

I have a friend who recently started cigars and we have been going out to the local cigar bar about once a month for the past 5 months. His first experience was a Macanudo Inspirado White. He said it was good, but he didn't like the aftertaste he had the next day. Next time he tried an Ashton Cabinet Selection, and he has stuck with that ever since. I personally have never had one, but I thought it might be helpful to share his experience as a beginner.
