Forum speed

Is the forum running faster?

No imo it isn't running any faster. Although the poll states I have already voted my No vote doesn't register.
 
We increased the memory. Recently every so often the forum would spit out errors. The increased memory has seemed to resolve that problem. I noticed a speed increase on my side.
 
Definitely faster up here I Canada. Before the search function was almost unusable, but now it is fine.

edit: spoke too soon. It is faster, but I just got an ISE and couldn't access the site for a few minutes.
 
It seems to be a little faster but that may be because I'm not fully used to my new ISP speed.
 
I haven't noticed any speed issues. It seems to run fine aside from the occasional white screen error.
 
Maybe just a bit. The search function always hangs for me. Sometimes I walk away from the computer b/c it typically takes so long. I'll test it out now and see.
 
Seems a little faster. Thanks for the upgrade Rod.

edit: I do notice it takes a little longer on posting replies though. Navigating does seem faster though.

Forgot about search speeds. Yes I agree, they seem to take a bit longer then they should.
 
I'm limited by my dialup so I don't really notice speed increases. I have noticed that the occasional crashes and errors seems to have stopped except for an internal server error I got just before lunch.

just had a nice, fairly long (3-5min?) error - ASE? ISE? somethin' like that... I had already voted no as the site seems as zippy as it did before- speed was never an issue for me.

I voted yes. It seems a bit faster to me?
 
I keep getting server busy errors when I try and post. Perhaps the limit you put on the search feature is having an effect on posting as well?

Was running fine for awhile, but the errors started to hit about 90 minutes ago.
