Fresh Homemade Pico De Gallo

Real men ditch the Serrano's and substitute 1 yellow Habanero

Going to have to try this recipe this weekend.
 
Heh! Looks like a great recipe. I thought you were going to use the vodka in the Pico!
What fooled me is that it really wasn't too far out there. Some Itaians use vodka, or wine, in their Tomato Sauce. The Alcohol brings out certain flavors in the tomato that you woudn't otherwise taste.
Also love all that Cilantro you use. :thumbs:
 
Great to hear it Kuso, this stuff truly is some tasty salsa. In fact, now that you've bumped this thread again, I might look into making some more! :laugh:


This reminds me of the salsa competitions we used to have Sundays at the late, great Azucar...
 
Now all ya need to to premake a Pernil in a vac bag and let it sit in the fridge for a few days and put it on the smoker (with an apple wood) and baste with the drippings
